Year 6 Writing

As part of our book study, Otter’s Moon, the children have been working on some drama to develop their creative writing.

Spring is in the air

After learning about World War 2 rationing in history last term, we decided to have our own allotment area to grow some vegetables. The children will be planting and caring for a selection of vegetables and combining their knowledge of street art to make the area more attractive. Keep up to date with our progress.

British Science Week in Years 5 and 6

We have launched a science invention challenge in Years 5 and 6 to celebrate British Science Week.  What can we do to improve the air quality of a particular area within our part of the school? Entries for this competition need to be submitted by Thursday 27th March. (A copy of the information given to the children can be accessed in the Letters Home section of our website in Parents’ Area). Good luck!

5CS music fun

We played jazz music using glockenspiels, including improvisation and self compositions.

Girls Dudley 6 a-side Finals

Having qualified through the local competition for the finals day, our girls competed in the event today. A flying start saw us qualify second from our league and then ultimately finish seventh overall. There were sixteen teams at the finals day with forty three schools originally entering the competition. A great effort enjoyed by all the girls – well done!
